I suppose for this week's pic a pic of the full moon is kind of mandatory... *g*
And I actually have one!
I got up Sunday night to watch the eclipse and the blood moon, but I was so knackered that I didn't manage to stay up more than ten minues at around 4.30 am, so didn't see much of it. But there was not much red colour to see anyway, despite a very clear night, probably because dawn wasn't too far away already. I didn't take any pics, too, as up to then, I never managed to get good pics of the full moon due to lack of knowledge and experience on my part. However, I took some shots in the evening before the eclipse, and one of them came out great - I had chosen a different setting by accident, which proved to be the one I needed. *g* So on Tuesday night around 9.30 pm I went outside again to see if I could recreate that setting and quality, and came out with the image you see here. Yay! :D The image is cropped, though; I don't have a special tele lens, just what my zoom can manage. But I'm very satisfied all the same.
On the weekend, we were doing cleaning-up in the garden, together with diligent furry little helpers. You can see how exhausted poor Finids was later: *lol*
Just kidding, of course - although she _did_ help a lod. Accompanied nearly every apple Siljan picked from its spot on the ground to the bucket, and every bucket to the sacks we put them in for transport. This is important work, of course - who know what these round things are up to? Dropping down on unsuspecting felines all the time, who knows what they can do to Mommy and Daddy? *ggg*
Siljan is creating a new storage area for our spare roof tiles as their old place was becoming too tempting for fence-climbing felines. Siljan had to remove a bit of earth at this place, and Finids again was very helpful, digging at his side and catching any earth clump daring to escape. When he was finished, she flopped down on that floor plate and immediately went to sleep.
